SFB Winter Status Workshop 2027
Date: February 16 - 19, 2027
The SFB Winter Status Workshop will take us to a snowy part of Austria.
We arrive on Monday, 15th February and come to together for a joint dinner in the evening.
The seminar kicks off on Tuesday morning and ends on Friday, 19th February after lunch. Lectures and talks will take place on four half-days, leaving the afternoon for networking or joint winter activities.

Getting there
By plane:
The closest airport to St. Johann is Salzburg Airport W.A.Mozart (60 km). Take bus Nr 2 to Salzburg Hbf and continue by train to St. Johann im Pongau with a journey time of around 49mins. Bus Nr 2 operates daily in short intervals from the airport to Salzburg Hbf (23mins journey time).
Train:
St. Johann im Pongau is optimally connected to the international railway network. Hotel Brückenwirt is within walking distance of the St. Johann railway station, about 200m.
Journey time from Vienna is approx. 3 1/2 to 4 hours with changing at Salzburg Hbf. From Graz it is possible to travel directly with IR (InterRegio) in 3h23.
