Welcome to the webpage of our SFB!

In December 2023, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) approved the funding of our SFB (Special Research Area, also known as a research network)  F 1002 on "Discrete random structures: enumeration and scaling limits", with a budget of Euro 4.3 million for the duration of 4 years.

This research network combines the probability and combinatorics groups of the University of Vienna, the Technical University of Vienna and the Technical University of Graz in a series of joint projects on random discrete structures arising in mathematical physics and in particular in statistical mechanics.
